Daniel Pacthod is a Director in McKinsey & Company’s New York Office. ; Daniel leads McKinsey New Ventures. The Firm has recently launched McKinsey new Ventures to pioneer our next frontier of innovation and entrepreneurship. New Ventures complement our current capabilities to deliver more impact to our clients. Four building blocks:

(3) Vibrant portfolio of proprietary solutions and assets based on benchmarking, analytic solutions and process improvement tools,

He has been with the Firm 21 years and sits on McKinsey’s Board and global Operating Committee. ; Daniel has built our Industrial and Aerospace and Defense practice in the Americas. He has extensive experience serving clients across both a broad range of sectors (Aerospace & Defense companies, Industrial conglomerates, Enterprise IT Hardware and Software) and geographies (North America, Europe and Asia). His focus has been primarily strategic and operational: building new operational capabilities (Design To Value, Next Generation Procurement); capturing new growth opportunities in adjacent markets; building new marketing & sales capabilities to accelerate growth, expanding the portfolio through M&A.; Daniel graduated from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris, and, as part of that program attended Haas School of Business of the University of California at Berkley; Prior to McKinsey, Daniel worked for Schneider Electric / Square D, a global electrical distribution equipment manufacturer in Chicago.
