Andrew Cooke is Microsoft’s Regional Director of Legal Affairs and Digital Transformation for Asia, based out of Singapore. In his role, Andrew has responsibility for a team of digital transformation and industry attorneys, delivering world class legal support across the varied Asian markets. Andrew sits on Microsoft’s APAC business leadership team and has been deeply involved in leading Microsoft’s efforts in Asia in relation to the legal and regulatory aspects of cloud computing and privacy as well as digital transformation.
Andrew has been with Microsoft since 2007, initially providing legal support for the Australian and New Zealand operations before moving to Singapore in 2012. Prior to joining Microsoft, Andrew worked in private practice in London and Singapore before moving to in-house legal roles in banking and information technology in Australia. Andrew holds degrees in economics from the University of Sydney and law from the Australian National University (ANU).
